I have my morning routine down to a timed science. I know exactly how much time it takes me at the gym, time to grab a coffee, shower, get ready and get breakfast on the table for my boys to get to school on time. Even though I’m pressed for time, I still want to look put together for the car drop off, and then to hit the ground running for any client phone calls I may have or errands during the day. Today, I’m sharing what I use pretty much every morning that leaves me feeling polished and put together in under 5 mintues.
Beautycounter Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer – apply with fingers, blender ball or makeup brush. *I use 1 big pump.
I hate the way heavy foundation feels. But I do want some coverage. This multitasking tinted moisturizer is makeup and skincare in one. It has lightweight coverage (if that’s your thing) but also is buildable with a foundation you love. It contains SPF 20 which I love for the summer if I forget sunscreen on my face. As its name states, it leaves your skin with an all over dewy glow.
Beautycounter Cheeky Clean Cream Blush – applied on the apples of your cheeks moving upward and back toward your ear; apply with fingers and/or brush
This silky cream color for cheeks (and lips) again gives you that rosy glow with added squalane that give you a dewy, smooth finish. I especially love this when I’m traveling and don’t want to haul every shade and compact I have. It is multi-purposeful – can be used on cheeks, eyelids, and lips! I rub a little on in a circle on the apple of my cheeks (smile and it’s the large part that sticks out) and work my way up my cheekbone toward my ear. *In a pinch for time, I will use these 2 products and be good to go!
Beautycounter Lid Glow Cream Shadow – swipe a generous amount on your lids; blend in with fingers or eyeshadow brush
Along the same lines of the cheeky cream blush, I adore this lid glow cream shadow. I love the sparkly, glow look makeup can give me and creams do just that! They are weightless, crease free and are buildable (if you’re feeling really crazy or pressed for time!).
Note, if you have greasy lids like me, you may not be able to “hold” your lid cream all day. To get it to last, apply concealer to your eyelids, let it set in, then apply your lid cream. Works like a charm!
Beautycounter Think Big All In One Mascara – a swipes on for full lashes!
I’m not a huge eyeliner or mascara person but this mascara makes my eyelashes look so full and awake! Many days I leave out this step because I rub my eyes (thanks late 30s) but when I’m going to church, to substitute teach or out with friends or a date night, I go big!
