Write the Word is back for 2023! This journey with Write the Word started because I needed to get back in God’s word daily. Reading entire books or chapters felt like too much when I was a young mom. I also knew from college that writing notes or anything in my own handwriting would help me to remember what I’d read.
So I started with writing a verse a day. Sometimes it’s 2-3 verses depending on the passage but after a little while, I was amazed at how this practice in obedience has grown a deeper dependence and trust in God. That’s not something I could have said 5 years ago.
I hope you know this is just the beginning. One verse a day isn’t a magic formula to get to heaven. It’s a kickstart to the greatest relationship we have.
